A pilot for NBC. A sit-com about a group of scientists with cabin fever on an Arctic research station. This scene stars the amazing, late Michael Jeter, who insisted on actually being dunked in ice cold water.  The snow scenes were shot in a hangar in San Diego in blistering heat. I went through a strange market research exercise, watching burger-eating tourists from behind a two way mirror, as they watched my film. It turned out that they loved the penguin more than the actors.
